The Kitchen Hood
It is not very obvious how to operate the kitchen hood. However it is very simple.
Pull the handle GENTLY down and out. It automatically starts operating. Pull it out further for stronger ventilation.
Some tips
We would like to draw your attention to a few points to consider:
- If you use the tea cooker, pull it out from underneath the kitchen cupboards. So the steam can ascend without touching the cupboards.
- Don’t put any hot pans or pots directly on the stone work surface. It can damage the coating.
- Clean the ceramic cooking surface only with cleaning supplies made for glass ceramic.
Garbage
You need to use the official garbage bags from Verbier. On your arrival there is at least one provided. If one bag is full, you can deposit the bag in the basement in the room that is to the right and across from the lift (when exiting).
If you need to buy additional waste bags, you can do so at the Migros or the Coop. (You have to ask for it at the counter.)
Recycling
Plastic bottles, paper, carton, glass and cans can be recycled. There is a recycling station nearby.
